What an amazing day at Memorial Elementary!
Fishing for a Cause visited Miss Riley and Jane Bowers, teaching the 5th graders about Fishing, water/boat safety, and other aquatic life in Pennsylvania!

Fishing for a Cause teamed up with Schiel’s Family Markets, Valley with a Heart, Melissa Richardson, and donations from the the community to help 12 families during the Christmas Holiday!
The families received food, socks, blankets and gifts.

24 teams showed up to fish in low 30 degree temperature!
Congratulations to the team of Nowak / Sherlock 14.81 lbs. for first place. Second place went to Davidson / Oliver. 3rd place was Sypeck / Thomas. Lunker was a huge largemouth 6.34 lbs.

Last week Fishing for a Cause made a visit to Wilkes-Barre Area Solomon school Life Skills classes. We talked about fishing, had hands on life vests, googles and different eye protection, hard baits , soft baits and the children were able to explore the Ranger 519 Bass Boat!

Fishing for a Cause visited The Scranton School for the Deaf last week! We talked fishing and hands on with Rod and reels, hard and soft baits, and safety aspects with fishing and boating.
The children loved climbing all over the 519 Ranger!
