Fishing for a Cause was out again visiting Matthew and his family in Miners Mills.
Matthew received some gifts and especially enjoyed The Thomas the train toys. We also gave a monetary donation for assistance with his medical, travel and other items that Matthew may need.
Matthew is fighting a genetic disorder called MCAP (Lymphedema).

Hanover Area Life Skills Class
Fishing for a Cause made a visit to Hanover Area High School today for some show and tell about fishing.
Kim Garber and Megan Sevenski classes asked many questions and were able to sit in a Ranger.
Fall Classic benefitting Fishing for a Cause 2023
Congratulations to all the winners! I wanted to thank everyone who came out today andcall our sponsors for making this a successful event!
The 2023 fall classic is in the books! The areas largest benefit bass tournament to support the Fishing for a Cause Foundation had 22 boats show up despite the rainy weather. While the weather was a bit on the wet side, a few teams showed out to bring nice bags of bass to the scales.
Matty recipient
Fishing for a Cause made a visit to Matty who is suffering heart defect and autoimmune disease. Matty was given a Nintendo Switch game, fishing rod and reel, Lego set and some sour skittles that he likes. The family also received a monetary gift to help with medical and travel expenses.
